So its taken me a while to finally get around to posting this, but here we go.....
My gorgeous new desk arrived a couple of weeks ago and im very, very happy with it.
A second hand dining table, beautifully painted up and distressed by the lovely Emma from Love House to make a great little work space for me.
I also purchased this gorgeous chair (also by Emma) which I love.....
I have spent the last few weeks sorting through all my crafty bits and pieces, tidying up ribbons and re-homing buttons and beads, and getting organised (not sure how long its gonna last!).
From Kilner Jar button storage......
.....to a place for my favourite pin-cushion.
A great purchase from an antique shop.......an oak cutlery sorter re-used for all my threads.
Beautiful mini boxes from Canada, once containing chocolates, now holding quilling tools and brooch backs.
A very handy little tray with cute heart handles, ideal for searching for that perfect button. I found this in a lovely little shop in Chipping Sodbury, near Bristol, called Shabby Chic Interiors.
And finally this fabulously bright and funky fabric storage container. I purchased this from a lovely lady called Pam who has a Folksy shop called Hortensia Designs. She makes some really beautiful pieces so please take a look.
So, all is sorted, tidy, and its place.
I just need to find the time to sit down and make something!
Very impressive tidy up! My studio has already decended back to a total state after my open studios tidy up!
