Amy Butler Spring Goodies

Ok, so its far from being anywhere near Spring......what with the temperature plummeting to near zero degrees, but a quick look on the Amy Butler website is enough to warm things up a bit.

A beautiful collection of nature inspired stationery.......

This is my favourite, the Lucky flowers journal. I love the printed graphics on the inside.

Also loving the graphical nature of the fabric designs, but I can't decide which collection I like more, Ohio Sky or Pink Dahlia?

What I wish I had.......

.......right now is some of these very devilish looking Chubby Hubby bars, which i've spied on Cookies & Cups which has a huge collection of beautifully indulgent recipes.....

 

 I might just have to try making some of these as they require a bag of Reeces Peanut Butter cups, which I have developed a very unhealthy fascination with......

......if anyone has made/tried them I would love to know.

New Makes for Valentines...

So its been a busy, manic few weeks again, but I have found the time to make use of my newly purchased fabrics and whip up a couple of Valentines bits and pieces for my shops........all pink themed and hearty it seems.....

Ive made the heart pins out of felt......a new discovery for me........and something I think I might be slightly in love with!

Its a really nice material to work with and im making another 2 of these in a cool blue colour way.......pics to come....

Sunday Stroll...

As its been such a nice sunny weekend, we've made the effort to do a little bit of walking, and taking in the fresh, winter air.....im now ready for a cosy blanketed sofa and copious amounts of hot chocolate.....

Folksy finds.....Sunrise

I hate the morning drive to work. Its far too early, and recently, far too dark!

However this week was slightly different. Its definitely getting lighter in the mornings, and everyday this week (bar one miserable day) we've been treated to a beautifully colourful sunrise....especially Thursday, when the sky seemed to be on fire.

Not a bad way to get a bit of inspiration, which leads perfectly onto this weeks 'Folksy finds', paying  tribute to all those vivid pinks, oranges, and purples of the week gone.

Im hoping for more of those mornings next week....
